Located in rural Oxford, the Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is a one-of-a-kind facility that demonstrates many examples of renewable energy, energy-efficiency and ecological design principles in action. We provide both on-site tours, or we will come to you for off-site presentations that include interactive, multi-media and hands-on demonstrations. Tailored for both adult and youth groups, tours and presentations are designed to help individuals:

Attention Girl Scouts! We are currently offering Eco-Action Badge Workshop days. Please call the Center to make arrangements for your Troop of 8 or more. Through observation and hands-on learning Scouts will learn about energy, the environment and how to take action. They will:
Workshops last 2 hours. Cost is $5.00 per scout / adults free (Badge is not supplied). Group size limited to 30 scouts. Advance registration required!
Attention Boy Scouts! Interested in earning your Energy Merit Badge? We have a certified Energy Merit Badge counselor who would be happy to work with you or your patrol / troop. Please contact Laurel Dancoe at the Center. Call 248-693-1021 or email info@uheac.org .
On Site at Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center $5 per person (minimum of 15 or $75)
Energy Education Outreach Presentations 45 minutes - 1 hour: 1 class/group (30 students or less) $110 2-3 classes (30-90 students) $180
1 1/2 - 2 hours: 1 class/group (30 students or less) $170 2-3 classes (30-90 students) $240
*Some grant funds may be available in cases of need
