Green Living Guide
This Green Living Guide has been created to provide resources
to UHEAC members in their efforts to "go green". The following programs and
services are available as a benefit of membership and for a fee to non-members:
Green Living Support Group
A Green Living Support group meets regularly to share ideas,
develop resources and network about sustainability. It provides
regular contact and networking for people who are actively working to live a
more sustainable life and promote sustainability in our community. Unlike other
support groups, you do not need to introduce yourself as an "oil addict".
Sustainable Saturdays
Sustainable Saturdays is the name of the meeting of the Green
Living Support Group. A group member or UHEAC staff take responsibility for the
topic, location and discussion at each weekly meeting. Contact Clifford at
clifford@uheac.org for more information.
A minimum donation of $10 is requested of non-members at each meeting.
Green Living Guidance
UHEAC members are eligible for one-on-one guidance from UHEAC
staff on green living questions and issues. For assistance in any area of green
living, contact John at john@uheac.org. If
we don't have the answers, we will do research, make connections or give you
some helpful direction for addressing your questions. We conduct guidance by
email as much as possible, so that information can become part of the UHEAC
Green Living Guide. The charge for non-members is $50 per hour.
